NEW ENGLAND montana EVERYWHERE
Your choice to be or not to be present. And your choice in
Not every photographer is the same. Not every photographer sees those in between moments that become our heirloom photos.
Not every photographer blends seamlessly into your group, or into the background, and encourages you to be present.
Not every photographer wishes to ditch a shot list and let the people and environment guide their eyes.
Who you choose matters. Who you choose determines how honest your memories are.
You’re choosing more than just a photographer. You’re choosing a heart. You’re choosing an entire life’s worth of experiences, that determines what each photographer sees as “photo worthy”.
Memorize poses and shot lists.
Buy presets or make their own.
Make a website and run advertisements.
Shoot a wedding and tick off the "traditional" boxes.
But every heart is crafted individually over a lifetime. And what each heart deems "valuable" enough for a photo is different. I value your time being spent at your own wedding, and not letting photos take you away from your day and your people.
But I will. My philosophy is simple: The best gift I can give you on your wedding day, is a day lived presently and a gallery told truthfully.
The art of photographing truthfully. Real candid, not those prompted fake ones.
Anticipating moments that are often overlooked.
Having an energy and presence that encourages yeveryone to be authentically themselves.
Never asking or expecting you and your people to perform or fake it for a photo.
You don't need to be told what to do to have the photos that you dream of.
You deserve to be at your own wedding.
These are your family heirlooms in the making.

I struggled most of my life trying to find a place that I fit into. Trying to find a group of friends that I felt like understood me. Trying to tell stories through art & photography that other people felt connected to, so maybe for a second their connection to my work would give me connection to another human.
It wasn’t until 2021 where I finally found a place that felt like home. I went out west having no idea about it, never watched Yellowstone before (now I’m obsessed lol), and really only went because I couldn’t turn down a $250 round trip ticket. Little did I know I’d find a place that leaving every time made me homesick for. Connected to the way of life there, to the people there, to the land there. It will always feel like home and I’ll always be looking for a way to get back. But besides Montana, photography gives me snippets of the same feeling. Telling stories & being a part of peoples lives, even if it’s brief in the grand scheme of things. I live for that connection, and raw moments and places.
So this is me: dirt on my boots, sunset glow on my skin, looking for moments that when captured right, feel like home. And I’m so thankful I get to do the same for all of my clients.
My passion is photography, as you probably could've guessed.
Though when I’m not behind the lens, some other things I love to do include...
My favorite little moments are driving around at golden hour with the windows
down in my truck. You can maybe even spot my dogs, Jaxon & Soraya, with their
heads out of the window & goggles strapped on lol.
I've been interested in photography since the day I was able to hold a camera. There's this story my dad
would tell about back when my brothers and I were kids... He gave each of us a disposable film camera,
and somehow I ended up with all 3. I wasn't sure if it was a true story, until I stumbled upon a photo of little
Meg at Sea World - maybe 8 years old. Sure enough, I had 3 disposable camera attached to me.
From then on, I always had a camera on me. After high school I found myself getting into Fine Arts, and
studied at Parsons in New York City for a short time before ultimately following my heart back to
photography in wide open spaces throughout New England and Montana.
I never quite thought that "traditional" wedding photography was for me. The stiff, staged, performative
wedding days felt so cold and sterile. Every wedding gallery might as well have been the same one,
just with a different couple swapped in.
But when I realized I could do it my way, it became my passion. My way is an honest way. No two weddings the same.
The messy, chaotic, loud, fleeting, emotional, real life wedding photos that you'll want to remember and show your kids. The ones with personality that make you look at a photo and say, "That's SO Mom." Or Grandma, or uncle or WHOEVER. All of the above, I docucment every human you love.
My way is letting you be at your wedding, and saving your memories without ever having to remove you from them in the moment. Telling stories & being a part of peoples lives, even if it’s brief in the grand scheme of things, is what I find the most joy in.
